🍞 Bread and Bakery
Most bread contains gluten. That includes sourdough, which the internet keeps insisting is safe (it is not). Regular bread, rolls, bagels, crumpets, muffins, croissants, and wraps are all made from wheat flour. Gluten-free bakery options exist, but the ingredients, texture, and nutritional profile differ significantly.
Important: Traffic light ratings reflect the default gluten status of each food. Individual products may differ. Always check the label, especially for orange-rated foods.
